Elk Mountain Tents are warranted against defects of materials and workmanship for one year. Any product found defective will be repaired or replaced (at the discretion of Elk Mountain Tents) without charge when the product is returned. This warranty does not cover torn fabric, burn holes, the nuts tack welded to the angles, mold, or merchandise damaged through misuse, accident, or transportation. The manufacturer makes no other warranty either express or implied and shall not be liable for consequential or incidental damages. This warranty applies only to new products sold at retail value and to the original purchaser.
All of the technical and legal jargon aside, we want you to be a happy customer fully satisfied with your tent. If you’ve got an issue, please don’t hesitate to contact us and give us a chance to make it better. We love hearing from you and try our best to incorporate the feedback we receive so our next batch of tents is even better.
Returning a Canvas Tent
We believe you will love your new canvas tent. However, if after assembling the tent, you aren’t completely satisfied with it, you may return the product(s) within 30 days of receipt. Tents must be returned in like-new, unused condition in the original packaging with all parts. Assembling the tent for inspection does not render the tent “used.” A restocking charge may apply for products that have been removed from box and assembled for inspection. Please contact us before shipping any product back. Shipping costs will not be refunded. In the event that we have made a mistake with your order, please contact us so we can make arrangements for the return and replacement. We ship FedEx Ground.
Shipping our Canvas Tents
Our canvas tents typically ship within 1 or 2 business days of orders and take 3-5 to arrive. We ship by FedEX Ground and will send you the tracking information. If you live outside of the lower 48, please contact us before ordering.
Elk Mountain Tents assumes no liability related to the use or misuse of merchandise offered on our web site. Tents are not designed for snow loads and there are inherent risks with using a wood burning stove.
The canvas is rated for about three years of expsoure to UV’s. If you are setting your tent up for long durations, a fly is highly recommended to protect your investment.
